Job summary

Packaging Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to keep converting and corrugating equipment running with minimal downtime. The role requires following plant procedures and safety policies, and includes troubleshooting controllers and drive systems to ensure quality production.

Candidates should be prepared to work all shifts and overtime as needed, and to document work per company guidelines. Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Provide own tools to perform maintenance tasks.
• Prior experience in corrugated industry is preferred.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
• Follow PCA plant procedures, protocols and safety policies.
• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot repair of AC/DC drives and control systems.
• Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery for capacity and speed.
• Complete paperwork neatly and per company guidelines.
• Willing to work all hours and shifts, overtime as needed.
