Job summary

ServiceMaster Elite Janitorial Services is seeking a Corrugate Team Member to maintain a clean, safe warehouse by handling pallets, recyclables, and related materials. The role involves operating pallet jacks, loading trailers, and managing compactors in a fast-paced environment.

You will work independently at times, communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, and contribute to a culture of reliability, accuracy, and safety while adhering to uniform and punctuality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove pallets, cardboard, and plastic wrap from inside and outside the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load all pallets (damaged and reusable) into designated trailers for disposal or recycling.
• Operate and monitor cardboard and plastic compactors, emptying them when full according to safety procedures.
• Stage and load full pallets of compacted cardboard and plastic into trailers for removal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Job Position Description:

The Corrugate Team Member maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by collecting and removing pallets and recyclable materials, operating pallet jacks, loading trailers, and using compactors for proper disposal and recycling.

• Collect and remove pallets, cardboard, and plastic wrap from inside and outside the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing and walking (up to 100%); frequent pulling, pushing, bending, twisting, reaching, and squatting; occasional kneeling and crawling.
• Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently.
