Job summary

KBS - Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC in Virginia Beach seeks a Warehouse Associate (Corrugate Recycler) to pick up and replace gondolas, operate a manual pallet jack, and maintain clean, safe work zones. You will also transport gondolas to the baler or compactor, and perform janitorial duties as needed.

Qualified candidates should be able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and work shifts that include nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 'Green Mile' traffic areas free of debris for safety.
• Sort and tidy Auger/Baler/Compactor areas; perform other duties as needed.

Job description

Warehouse Associate (Corrugate Recycler)

We are seeking motivated, high‑energy individuals to join our team as Warehouse Associate (Corrugate Recycler). The role focuses on picking up and removing Corrugate Gondolas throughout the facility, and exceeding customer expectations.

Work Schedule & Pay

• Days/nights vary, including weekends.
• Starting Pay: $15 per hour.

Shifts Available

• SUN – WED: 6:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• SUN – WED: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Utilize a manual pallet jack to pick up full gondolas and replace them with empty gondolas within assigned areas.
• Transport full corrugate gondolas to the baler or compactor located in designated area (training provided).
• Ensure zones around all gondolas are free of debris and trash.
• Dust, mop, and sweep around trash receptacle areas to keep traffic areas free of trash and debris.
• Maintain traffic areas (“Green Mile” walking areas) free of debris at all times to ensure safety for all.
• Maintain and sort in Auger/Baler/Compactor areas for tidiness.
• Perform other janitorial duties as needed.

Requirements

• Use a manual pallet jack to lift and move gondolas up to 75 lbs.
• Lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Maintain ability to push and pull manual pallet jacks loaded with trash/cardboard consistently.
• Walk extensively throughout the entire shift.
• Stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals (generally in English; may have Spanish where required).
• Use KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to clock in/out and record work hours.
