Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced professional to design and maintain corrosion control systems across our facilities. This role involves advanced support for installation, monitoring, and testing of cathodic protection and related equipment.

Responsibilities include NDT on facilities, data reporting, environmental tasks, and adherence to safety and regulatory procedures. DOT-related duties may apply, with emphasis on rapid response to hazards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corrosion control experience.
• Experience with pipe coating and corrosion-related maintenance.
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation procedures and One Call policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support with installation, maintenance and monitoring of corrosion control systems.
• Perform Non-Destructive Testing on facilities.
• Install, test, adjust and repair rectifiers, anodes and test points.
• Troubleshoot interference/foreign contact issues.
• Perform soil resistivity surveys and other specialty surveys.
• Inspect and maintain cathodic protection tools and equipment.
• Complete and update reports and documents (test readings, maps, diagrams, job orders).
• Compile and verify financial information (expenses, reports, reconciliations).
• Conduct corrosion measurements to industry standards.
• Support environmental activities as required.
• May include DOT-related duties or emergency response on pipelines.

JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary Performs an advanced level of activities involved in the design and maintenance of corrosion control systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide advanced level of support with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of corrosion control systems
• Non-Destructive Testing on facilities
• Install, test, adjust, and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and test points
• Troubleshoot and repair interference/foreign contact problems
• Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity surveys and other special surveys
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and/or repair cathodic protection tools and equipment
• Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
• Complete and/or update reports and documents including but not limited to: Test readings Atlas pages, maps, plats, and diagrams Job orders and completion reports Equipment maintenance reports
• Compile, verify, and/or prepare financial information including, but not limited to: Forecasted versus actual expenses Governmental/regulatory reports Financial reports Reconciliation reports
• Measure internal, external and atmospheric corrosion per industry standards
• Responsible for conducting environmental activities as specified by position
• Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
• Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Work Experience

• 3 - 5 years related work experience in corrosion control
• Experience and training relative to: Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
• Construction and maintenance activities
• Locating lines
• One Call System policies and procedures
• Experience in use, function, maintenance, and repair of cathodic protection tools and equipment
• Experience with facility/system operations
• Experience working with pipe coating, basic chemistry, electronics, and metallurgy
• Experience reading and interpreting maps, drawings, procedures, survey results, plats, atlas pages, rectifier reports, and applicable operation and repair manuals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to: apply basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
