Job summary

You will work with engineers and operations staff, documenting current processes and opportunities, and will use AI and automation to improve data visibility and risk insights. Hybrid in-office and remote arrangement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Chemical/Mechanical/Materials/Metallurgical/Corrosion or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 is required.
• Willingness to travel to field locations and comply with safety requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn how corrosion prevention activities support safe, reliable operations of midstream assets.
• Review data sources and workflows for cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and field teams to document processes and improvements.
• Leverage AI, automation, and reporting tools to improve visibility and reduce manual effort.
• Create process documentation, data definitions, and guidance for future adoption.
• Participate in field visits to observe corrosion prevention equipment and practices.
• Present results and recommendations to leadership at internship end.
