Title: Corrosion Control Technician - 2nd Shift
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP), based in Jacksonville, Florida, provides maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). With over 35 years of experience, we plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.
Responsible for setting up, operating, and performing preventative maintenance on stationary and portable sandblasting equipment for cleaning metal and non-metal surfaces. Applies coatings such as paint, varnish, lacquer, or shellac to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other methods. Provides technical guidance and training to lower-level painters and assists higher-level painters. Performs additional tasks as assigned.
