Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a Corrosion Manager – Operations to oversee regional corrosion technicians and ensure compliance with state and federal corrosion and pipeline regulations. The role supports safety, regulatory readiness, and integrity management while guiding budgets and SOP adherence.

You will lead supervision, coordinate surveys and data analysis, review reports, and partner with regulators and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of corrosion control experience in energy/pipeline.
• Current or prior NACE certifications in cathodic protection and internal corrosion.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and administrative reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, organize, and coordinate daily corrosion control activities.
• Manage workloads and schedules for Corrosion Technicians.
• Provide coaching, feedback and performance guidance.
• Coordinate bid packets for recoats, ground beds, and other projects.
• Manage budgets and ensure activities stay within approved limits.
• Coordinate quarterly meetings with technicians and chemical service providers.
• Prepare for and support agency audits (e.g., RRC, PHMSA).
• Ensure compliance with corrosion, pipeline, and safety regulations.
• Communicate with teams about workload and schedules; be available for emergencies.
