Gateway Foundation is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor for our Chillicothe, MO location. In this role, you will conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, providing counseling both individually and in groups to assist clients in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Missouri Department of Corrections clearance.
• Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours.
• Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history.
• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Document treatment plans and clients' progress.
