Staff Today Inc. in Lillington, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting. The role supports physicians and care teams, administers medications, and educates patients and families on treatment plans.

Qualifications

Current, valid North Carolina RN license in good standing.
Minimum 1+ year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
Copy of PSV (Primary Source Verification) if required by licensing board.
Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Perform wound care, IV therapy and other procedures within scope of practice.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
