Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan and provide comprehensive nursing care for inmates/residents. The RN will execute orders, dispense medications, and assist in examinations and treatments while supervising nursing staff as needed.

The role requires maintaining patient records, coordinating with contract medical personnel, and ensuring safety and compliance with policies. This is a facility-based, full-time position with strict adherence to confidentiality.

Formación

• Must be a licensed RN.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates/residents.
• Supervise other nursing staff when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Apply appropriate nursing skills in the area and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick call with the physician; prepare inmates to be examined and the examining room.
• Operate pill call, dispense medication and document as required by policies.
• Call Licensed Independent Providers for medication orders and emergencies.
• Examine and assess new inmates; refer to the ER as required.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify provider.
• Coordinate medical services provided by contract personnel.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all medical records.
