Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in McCormick, South Carolina. Local pay is $47.50/hour. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting, with day and night shifts available.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering meds, documenting care, coordinating with care teams, and educating patients and families. A SC RN license and up-to-date certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license/certification in good standing as a Registered Nurse (SC).
• 1+ year of RN experience in the last 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate EMRs and ensure infection control standards.
