Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Macon, GA. The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams, correctional officers, and facility administrators to deliver both routine and emergency care to the incarcerated population.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, at least 18 years old, and the ability to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where the nurse practices.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• CCHP-RN Certification preferred.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Location: MACON, GA

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.
