HAN Staff in Susanville, CA is seeking a Recreational Therapist to deliver therapeutic programs in a correctional healthcare setting. This full-time role offers a $58.10 per hour pay rate on a W2 basis, with standard weekday hours and supportive onboarding.

Qualified candidates hold a CA license, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and can provide PSV verification and required certifications (BLS, immunizations, TB). NCTRC/CBPRC credentials are welcomed.

Qualifications

• CA license required and in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Recreational Therapist.
• Copy of current Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the licensure board or verification agency, if required.
• Copies of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test) or other client-specific requirements.
• Certificates accepted from NCTRC or CBPRC.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs.
• Consider medical records.
• Conduct personal observation and discussions with the patient and family.
• Execute a therapeutic program tailored to the patient.
• Keep updated on communal and therapeutic resources to assist patients.
• Document patient progress during activities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
