The Michigan Department of Corrections seeks a qualified psychologist to provide a full range of psychological evaluations, tests, interventions, consultations and referral services for prisoners, including those with severe mental disorders. The role includes staff training and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care during discharge to the community.

Qualificações

• Possession of a master's degree in psychology.
• One year of professional experience providing psychological treatment equivalent to a Psychologist 9.
• Two years of professional experience providing psychological treatment equivalent to a Psychologist, including one year equivalent to a Psychologist 10.
• Possession of a temporary master's limited license, master's limited license, doctoral limited license, or full license to practice psychology in Michigan.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a full range of psychological evaluations, tests, interventions, consultations and referral services as assigned.
• Train staff in matters of psychology and mental illness.
• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and ensure continuity of care for prisoners.
• Work with sex offender treatment, assessment services, and community supervision/treatment for sex offenders.
