Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Corrections Psychologist to deliver psychotherapy, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in a contract facility. You will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and liaise with other medical disciplines to ensure inmate patients receive timely, effective care.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, diagnoses, individual and group therapy, and documentation. A Ph.D./Psy.D., NJ license, bilingual ability, and strong assessment skills are required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted psychology license in the facility's state (NJ).
• Bilingual abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document routine psychiatric intakes, assessments and evaluations for inmate patients.
• Diagnose and treat mental illness using psychological assessment/testing and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate with site mental health and medical staff to support behavioral health care delivery.
• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy and participate in program development.
• Prepare concise written care documentation and interact with patient families as needed.
