Qualifications

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Inmate contact: interact with inmates and visitors.
• Maintain security: monitor inmate movement and activities.
• Observation: conduct rounds, head counts, security checks.
• Training participation: formalized instruction in sociology, psychology, procedures, and custodial duties.
• Prepare reports: write and complete detailed reports.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; wear employer-provided uniforms.
