Qualifications

• PA residency requirement waived for this title.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA.
• Background checks, CJIS compliance, medical and psychological screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with inmates and visitors in direct and indirect situations.
• Monitor inmate movement and activities to maintain security.
• Conduct rounds, head counts, security checks, and report incidents.
• 40-hour week with varied shifts; weekends/holidays required; no telework.
