Aufgaben

• Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly correctional environment in collaboration with officers and supervisors
• Conduct regular rounds and observations to identify safety concerns and prevent incidents
• Monitor inmate behavior and report rule violations through established channels
• Assist with intake and booking, housing assignments, and inmate escorts under staff guidance
• Distribute uniforms, bedding, hygiene supplies, and assist with meal service
• Supervise inmate work assignments to support facility operations and accountability
• Perform searches in line with training and policies while respecting gender-specific requirements
• Inspect housing units and common areas for contraband and safety issues
• Enforce rules and procedures through fair, consistent discipline with supervision
• Escort and transport inmates to court, medical appointments, and approved activities
• Support rehabilitation and work-release initiatives as part of inmate management
• Respond to emergencies using trained techniques and appropriate force
• Document inmate movement, status, and time served in established systems
• Complete reports, logs, and records to support teamwork and accountability
• Provide courtroom testimony when required
• Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication for continuity of operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sheriff or designee
