Job summary

A state correctional agency in Orient, Ohio is looking for a Corrections Officer to maintain safety and security at the Pickaway Correctional Institution. The position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and offers competitive remuneration starting at $24.16 per hour. In addition to monitoring inmate activities, the officer will ensure facility security and participate in inmate counts. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have passed a correction officer assessment.
• Current employees must be certified in the position of correction officer.
