Job summary

Washington State Department of Corrections seeks candidates for Correctional Officer 1 and 2 positions at the Wenatchee Valley Reentry Center (WVRC) in Wenatchee, WA. Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• Valid Driver's license.
• The legal (Constitutional) right to carry a firearm.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security for incarcerated individuals and control movement within the facility.
• Serve as a positive role model and assist residents with re-entry goals and life skills.
• Participate in CORE (Academy) and Field Training Program as part of onboarding.
