Grafton County NH in New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Corrections Officer to supervise inmates under the supervision of a Sergeant or Corporal. The role includes staying alert to safety and security needs and upholding facility rules.

Evening (4p-12a) differential of $2.75/hour, Night (12a-8a) differential $3.75/hour, and an additional $2.75/hour for weekend shifts are provided. A valid driver’s license and fitness tests are required.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must meet physical fitness requirements on a yearly basis; must pass the physical fitness test.
• Must meet all physical and mental requirements as required by the New Hampshire Retirement System.
• Candidates must submit to a thorough background investigation and criminal record check.
• Candidates may appear before an Interview Board and may be required to pass a written test.

Responsabilidades

• Under the supervision of a Sergeant, Corporal, or designated Corrections Officer, responsible for providing care, custody, and control over sentenced and pre-sentenced inmates at the facility.
• Maintain safety and security of inmates and staff within the facility.
• Work varied shifts including evening and night with differential pay and weekend differential.
