Job summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Corrections to join our clinician team for a North Augusta, SC assignment. This contract provides 37.5 hours per week, nights from 6p to 7a, for 8 weeks, with ASAP start.

Nurses may float to nearby facilities as staffing needs dictate. Requirements include an active SC LPN license, at least one year of direct patient care in a similar setting, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of one year of paid LPN work experience in direct patient care in a similar setting within the past year.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Available to work 37.5 hours per week, three days per week.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Willing to float to other correctional facilities in surrounding area as needed.
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to different facilities as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide LPN care in correctional facilities as assigned.
• Float to multiple sites based on staffing needs.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and quality of care in variable environments.
