Staff Today Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Jarratt, VA. This 12-hour shift role offers local pay of $36.00 per hour (W2) and a chance to provide essential patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Current VA license/certification as LPN in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year within the last 3 years as an LPN.
Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.

Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care and assist with patients' healthcare needs.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
Check vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report concerns to the healthcare team.
Assist with routine health screenings, sick calls, and basic nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and document care provided.
Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
Assist patients with basic healthcare needs and perform other nursing duties as assigned.
