Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a night shift position in Tucker, Arkansas. Local pay is $37.50/hour with travel compensation options including a travel rate, lodging stipend, meal assistance, and total compensation estimates.

The role requires supervising clinicians, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and supporting care plans within a hospital or clinic setting. Travel stipends may apply for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted AR license/certification in good standing.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Local Pay: $ 37.50 /hour - W2 Travel Pay Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.02, Stipend (Lodging $539.00 + M&I $266.00) = $805.00, Total Comp: $1,453.72

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted AR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
