Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a correctional, behavioral, or penal institution with responsibility for the security, custody, rehabilitation, or classification of offenders, or in law enforcement or security plus one of the following:
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED; OR
• One year of experience in any field; OR
• Six months of law enforcement experience as a POST certified peace officer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of inmate behavior and daily activities, enforcing facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff within assigned areas by providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to promote team effectiveness and professional growth.
• Ensure operational excellence by completing detailed reports, reviewing operational logs, and managing daily security functions to uphold safety, security, and efficient facility operations.
