Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in meal and food item preparation in line with production plans. You will train staff, coordinate workloads, and uphold sanitation and safety standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include supervising food prep and tray assembly, ensuring timely service, managing inventories, and enforcing HACCP guidelines. Prior supervisory experience and a food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year in food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification and pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and approve logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements.
• Assist in inventory and requisition orders as needed.
• Follow HACCP policies and procedures.
