Job summary

Elior North America, Summit brand, is seeking an experienced cook to join our Taos, NM location at Taos County Detention Center. You will work with a motivated kitchen staff to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced correctional environment.

The role emphasizes portion control, food preparation, and safe handling, with opportunities for growth within our nationwide correctional dining program. Prior high-volume, scratch cooking and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Food handlers' certification.
