The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) seeks a motivated Corrections Identification Supervisor to lead fingerprint identification and photography programs at the Monarch Center in Lincoln, IL. You will supervise staff, coordinate with IDJJ and federal agencies, and ensure proper processing of youth and new employees.

The ideal candidate has extensive fingerprint classification knowledge, supervisory experience, and ability to manage photographic dark room operations.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four years high school or equivalent.
• Requires completion of an approved guard training course within six months of employment.
• Requires completion of an approved training program in taking and classifying fingerprints.
• Requires three years of experience in fingerprint identification work.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the operation of a photographic and fingerprint identification program.
• Direct fingerprinting and genetic index marking of youth.
• Photograph and fingerprint all new employees and maintain files.
• Escort youth to and from various work assignments.
• Coordinate with Bureau of Identification, FBI, and other agencies.
