Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction seeks a Human Services Provider Prog Coord I (S) at Mountain View Correctional Institution in Avery County, NC. Qualifications

• Knowledge of treatment programs and their implementation procedures.
• Understanding of physiological, nutritional, sensory-motor, affective, cognitive, social, communication and adaptive development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inter-disciplinary person-centered services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring disorders.
• Develop and monitor individualized cognitive, vocational, and social development care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal health, safety, and habilitative policies.
• Provide in-service training to direct-care staff as needed.
