Job summary

Qualifications

• Education is not creditable above GL-05 for most positions; graduate education may be creditable only when directly related to the work.
• You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level; the experience should be in or related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Review draft and existing position descriptions for completeness and accuracy; identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate multi-step classification actions across components; monitor HR inboxes and routing queues.
• Review organizational charts, staffing patterns, and functional statements for consistency with approved structures; prepare updates as needed.
• Research standards and regulations to gather factual support for desk audits and organizational studies.
