Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates during meal preparation and ensure adherence to production plans and safety standards. The role involves training workers, coordinating tasks, and maintaining sanitation and security in a correctional kitchen.

You will ensure proper portions, accommodate dietary requirements, and monitor logs and inventories. A background in food service and supervisory experience are preferred, with emphasis on safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of food prep or related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members to meet quality and quantity targets.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and review logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and compliance with guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of recipes and train on procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Follow security policies and store keys safely.
• Maintain sanitation and HACCP standards across kitchen areas.
• Assist in inventory, receiving, and storage of food items.
