Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly, ensuring meals follow production plans and safety standards. You will train workers, assign tasks, and coordinate operations to promote efficiency while upholding security and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing production logs, overseeing inventory, directing inmates in recipe usage, ensuring proper portions and dietary needs, and maintaining clean, safe work

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production and temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and all Aramark guidelines are met.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and any special dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures. Ensure storage areas are locked.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and HACCP procedures.
• Assist in inventory, receiving and storing food and related items.
