Job summary

Summit is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the Corrections team at Marshall County Jail in Columbia, TN. You will oversee all aspects of the food service department, manage staff, and ensure meals are delivered safely and on time.

This full-time onsite role requires experience coordinating food service operations, industrial cooking, and strong communication with hourly staff and executives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets/forecasts.
• Consult with the district manager or other departments on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
