Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old; U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or DACA recipient as per RCW 41.14.100.
• Successful completion of background checks and testing required.

Responsibilities

• Book inmates into jail, work release or programs and collect booking data.
• Supervise inmate activities and movements between housing areas.
• Conduct searches and fingerprinting; prepare data for AFIS/WASIC/FBI.
• Oversee medical needs and medications; monitor programs and visits.
• Conduct security checks, screen visitors, and manage headcounts.
• Prepare inmates for transport to courts and enforce jail rules.
