Job summary

White Construction is seeking a Project Manager with corrections/correctional project experience (jail, prison, detention center, etc.). The candidate will oversee contract administration, cost and schedule management, and safety compliance on complex construction projects.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field and 6+ years of experience in similar project types.

• 6+ years’ experience in similar construction project types.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration - knowledge of owner’s contract requirements, insurance, bonds, fees, notices, schedules, reporting, and costs.
• Cost Management - analyze financial, status, labor and other reports to control costs and profitability.
• Schedule Management - develop, update, and communicate project schedule with the team and field.
• Quality Management - develop and execute the Project Quality Management Plan per contract documents.
• Safety Management - commit to safety, participate in weekly safety meetings and enforce safe practices.
• Relationship Management - represent White Construction with clients and partners, attend industry events, foster opportunities.
• Communication Skills - convey messages clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing.
