Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a Commissary Manager at Pinellas County Jail to direct daily retail/commissary operations after completing ACS training. You will oversee systems, inventory, staff, and promotions to ensure efficient service and safety.

The role may involve supervising inmate labor and requires pre-employment screening. A Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of retail experience is preferred, along with strong MS Office skills and customer-focused leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3–5 years retail industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams with a focus on client services.
• Initiative and decision-making based on available information are essential.
• Previous retail and/or grocery/conv store experience with sales and merchandising is preferred.
• P&L accountability and/or contract-management experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain systems for commissary activities including planning, directing, and coordinating delivery of products to customers within the account.
• Coordinate unit forecast and unit accounting process.
• Ensure sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met.
• Execute promotions assigned for that location.
• Supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control.
• Oversee labor scheduling, staffing and training.
• Conduct inventory and records management audits to comply with standards.
• This role may supervise inmate labor.
