Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Correctional Case Analyst (NS) at Craven Correctional Institution in Vanceboro, NC. The role analyzes legal commitments, medical and psychological data, social history, and interviews to develop offender treatment plans and housing/custody recommendations.

Responsibilities include adhering to policy, SOPs, emergency plans, and directives, plus providing routine counseling and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of related experience.
• Ability to analyze legal commitments, medical and psychological data to inform housing, custody, and program recommendations.
• Capacity to interpret policies and follow SOPs, emergency plans, and directives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret legal commitments, medical data, psychological data, and criminal history to develop offender treatment plans.
• Comply with policy, SOPs, emergency plans, and other directives governing daily activities.
• Perform supportive counseling and crisis intervention, including suicide prevention, per procedures.
