Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enforces custody and security of inmates in a state prison facility.
• Supervises inmate housing areas, escorts prisoners, and conducts security searches and shakedowns.
• Supervises inmate work crews, patrols prison areas, and transports inmates as assigned.
• Follows department policies and regulations; will receive firearms training.
