Bureau of Prisons / Federal Prison System seeks professionals with a strong background in behavioral or social sciences to support rehabilitation and public safety. Qualifications include 24 semester hours in behavioral/social sciences, or a combination of education and experience with relevant coursework and knowledge of criminal justice principles.
Candidates should have experience in casework or counseling in correctional or related settings and be prepared to contribute to evidence-based
Competenze
- Education in behavioral or social sciences; knowledge of psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, or related fields.
- Graduate education leading to Ph.D. in corrections or related field is required.
- Experience in correctional settings or counseling with diagnostic/treatment planning skills is expected.
