Job summary

Bureau of Prisons / Federal Prison System is seeking Corrections professionals to foster humane and secure environments while ensuring public safety through successful reentry preparation.

Basic requirements include 24 semester hours in behavioral or social sciences or a combination of education and experience showing equivalent knowledge, plus three years of graduate education toward a PhD and related experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of case management policies and practices regarding programs and treatment options and inmate participation.
• Experience providing technical assistance and serving as a resource for institution administrative staff in case management.
• Experience working as part of institution administration to develop plans, policies, and procedures for institution management.
• Experience assisting with monitoring victim/witness and financial responsibility programs to ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee correctional program administration and treatment plan development.
• Coordinate case management activities with institution staff and programs.
• Support policy development and implementation within correctional facilities.
