Spectrum Health Systems in Chesapeake, VA is hiring a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Social Worker. The role involves clinical services, case management, assessments, and group therapy for inmates within a correctional setting. Licensure options (LICSW/LCSW/LMHC) or CSAC/CADC preferred, with DOC experience welcomed.

Formación

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, or closely related field and a minimum of two years of supervised counseling experience required.
• Licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) or CSAC, CADC certification preferred.
• DOC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local/regional resources for substance use recovery and reentry stabilization.

Responsabilidades

• Monitoring patient compliance with all program and DOC rules and regulations.
• Performing assessments and evaluating inmates' needs.
• Providing quality clinical services and case management to assigned inmates in accordance with Spectrum’s design and in compliance with licensing bodies.
• Providing group treatment to patients using Spectrum curriculum and protocol.
• Completing required documentation within established timeframes.
• Maintaining CORIS screen accuracy and participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning and reviews.
• Maintaining current clinical skills, licensure, and certification as required.
• Preparing and submitting all required reports and serving as a mentor for patients.
