VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Full-Time Substance Addiction Counselor to join the Behavioral Health Unit at MCI-Framingham and MCI-Norfolk. The role involves direct, face-to-face treatment for justice-involved individuals with substance use issues, delivered in a multidisciplinary team.

Travel between Framingham and Norfolk is required. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree, a recognized substance-use certification (CADC/CAADC/LADC), and at least two years of clinical

• Bachelor's degree or higher required
• Minimum 2 years of clinician/counselor/social work experience
• Substance use certification (CADC/CAADC/LADC) required
• Satisfactory background check required

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis stabilization, intakes, and ongoing evaluations as part of the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Assess level of functioning and readiness for treatment.
• Develop treatment and discharge plans with Behavioral Health Professionals.
• Deliver and score pre/post tests and contribute to program evaluation.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely documentation and reports.
