ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to serve adult clients at the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center.

The role delivers AODA programming in a secular format, develops individualized treatment plans, and maintains accurate records of progress and services. You will conduct group sessions, perform intake orientations, monitor client participation, and collaborate with staff to uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in a correctional environment.

Formación

• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• SAC-IT, SAC or CSAC credentials in WI.
• 1 year of experience in counseling.
• 1 year of experience working with correctional/AODA clients.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop treatment plans based on each client's individual needs.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of progress, services provided, treatment plan, and other required information.
• Counsel clients in group sessions, using the approved curriculum provided.
• Conduct orientation intake sessions of individuals referred to in the program.
• Evaluate client participation by monitoring behavior, attitude, and progress.
• Collaborate with staff, supervisors, and agents to ensure program integrity and confidentiality.
