• Supervises development and implementation of treatment strategies and aligns activities with goals to aid rehabilitation.
• Monitors movement and activity of residents to ensure safety and compliance with rules within a unit.
• Inspects living areas and grounds to ensure rules are followed and residents are secured.
• Trains staff to maintain competence and document performance for merit, discipline, and promotions.
• Intervenes in disturbances using approved methods to maintain order and safety.
• Documents observations and reports for continuing or modifying treatment programs.
