Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients in a timely and accurate manner
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the practitioner
• Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate
• Record vital signs and other diagnostic data accurately
• Coordinate multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed by the practitioner
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA practices
• Cover shifts at multiple correctional facilities as needed
