Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend sick call with physicians to see inmates and prepare exam rooms.
• Call physicians for medication and treatment orders and emergencies.
• Administer medications and document treatment accurately per policies.
• Examine and assess inmates and refer to emergency care as needed.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of medical records (HIPAA).
• Chart care promptly and review medical files for documentation.
