Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate nursing care planning and delivery.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid when appropriate.
• Record vital signs and other diagnostics on-site.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority.
• Document data for CQI reporting and studies.
• Report reactions or changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients on facility policies and discharge planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate medical services as directed by the practitioner.
