Job summary

NaphCare is hiring strong Registered Nurses to join our team at the Washington County Jail located in Hillsboro, OR. Pay rates range from $56.84 - $60.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.

PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability. NaphCare is a family-owned healthcare technology company delivering quality healthcare to correctional facilities

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in OR.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; correctional healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

Take and document all patient history and vital signs.
Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations.
Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies.
Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor procedures, patient assessments and treatment.
Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreements.
Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
Observe and evaluate the performance of licensed nursing staff.
