VitalCore Health Strategies, Delta Correctional Facility, Greenwood, MS, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time or part-time or PRN roles in a correctional setting. The RN delivers quality care within the scope of the state nurse practice act and acts as a patient advocate while leading best nursing practices.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Active CPR certification.
• Remains knowledgeable about state practice laws and regulations.
• Completes initial and annual clinical competencies as assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ condition.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Direct or supervise nursing staff or a unit as assigned.
• Educate individuals and families on health topics and disease prevention.
