Job summary

Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. This full-time day-shift role features a 12-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend and sign-on/retention bonuses to support retention.

You will provide direct nursing care in a secure correctional setting, perform nursing assessments, administer medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with the health team to ensure thorough documentation and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Provide direct nursing care in a secure correctional healthcare setting.
• Perform nursing assessments, evaluate patient conditions, and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to coordinate patient care.
